Susan Reed, Music Coordinator/Handbell Choir Director
Susan has been a member of Deermeadows since 1980. She was a ringer in Deermeadows' inaugural handbell choir and has been the director since 2002. A graduate of Jacksonville University (BS - Psychology/Social Sciences), she also enjoys singing in choir, playing the piano and teaching private piano lessons. She is married to Wayne Reed and they have three sons. She loves the unique contribution that handbells bring to worship and the close relationships that ringers enjoy through their instrumental efforts.
Tricia Logston, Music Secretary
Tricia has been at Deermeadows since October 2006. As our music secretary, she brings her experience with editing and publishing newsletters and bulletins; she has been playing the flute and piccolo for 22 years; and she served as a Worship Coordinator for 2 years at a church on the Westside of Jacksonville. She has been married for 16 years to her husband Robert and has two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, decorating cakes, listening to and singing christian music.
Gloria Davis, Church Pianist
Gloria Bridges Davis, who has been our pianist since January
1996, was born in Moultrie, Ga., began piano lessons at age seven
and studied music education at Georgia Southern College earning
a Bachelor of Science degree. In addition to her church responsibilities
she is the choral accompanist at the La Villa Middle School of
the Arts in Jacksonville and teaches private piano lessons. She
is married to Charles E. Davis, Jr. (Blimp), Associate in the
Church Music Department of the Florida Baptist Convention, and
has two children who are married and live in Texas.

Cathy has been in this role since August 2007. Prior to that she was Preschool Coordinator for 5 years. Cathy brings over 20 years teaching experience to the program as well as having served as the Music Director for DBC Weekday Preschool for 3 years. Personally, she sings in the Celebration choir, plays handbells and piano.
She is married to John and they have two children, Brandon and Carrie. She loves to read, spend time with her family and go to the beach. The desire of the Children's Choir program is to teach the children to express themselves to God and others through music |
Bill Bryan, Technical Director
Bill was born in California , grew up in Missouri , graduated from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg , MO. He has previous experience including working at Glorieta Baptist Conference Center where he did AV, production work, and conference support. He has attended South Western Baptist Theological Seminary working toward masters a degree in Communication. He likes reading, writing, artwork, movies, science fiction and fantasy, among other interests. He moved to Jacksonville in July 2006 and his wife Anna joined him in Feb 2007. His goal as technical director is the audio and visual elements used in ministries at Deermeadows are efficient and professional.
