Areas of Ministry

MISSIONS -
The missions team will head up various mission projects for those who would like to participate in one-time or ongoing mission efforts. These may include feeding ministries for the hungry, working with the City Rescue Mission, collecting items for the Crisis Pregnancy Center, and other hands-on efforts to share our faith.

BIBLE STUDY -
The women’s Ministry will be organizing Bible Studies throughout the year in an effort to help women to apply the Bible to their lives, encourage fellowship and develop meaningful friendships among women of all ages.

CONFERENCES -
A couple of times a year we plan to “get away” from our everyday responsibilities and share a time of renewal and rejuvenation. Tentative events include a prayer retreat in the spring and attending the Women of Faith Conference next fall.

SPECIAL EVENTS -
These will include fellowships, women’s conferences or special one-time studies to be held at the church.

PRAYER -
This vital part of any ministry will include, among other important opportunities, organizing prayer partners, ladies prayer groups, and emphasizing the importance of prayer in every aspect of our daily walk with Christ.
