How can I learn more about Deermeadows in person?

If you are a new member, visiting, or would like to explore membership, you are invited to attend this class. Come learn how you can connect more fully with Deermeadows' mission and ministries. Meet others who are new like you. This is a four week class. Contact Cindy Burns, 6422-200, in the church office to register.

Where is Deermeadows located? The church campus is conveniently located at 9780 Baymeadows Road, near the intersection of Baymeadows Road & Southside Boulevard in Jacksonville.

What's happening? Guests are always welcome at Deermeadows and you are invited to participate in worship, Bible studies, small groups and special events. You'll find lots of friends, many nationalities, couples, singles, families, children, teenagers, adults... but most importantly, people striving to follow Jesus Christ. What's Your Sunday Schedule?

Bible Study @ 9:00 a.m. (All Ages)

Worship @ 10:15 a.m. (Safe, secure care is available for newborns through preschool-age children.)

What Happens on Wednesdays?

Meal Served for Everyone: 4:45-6:00 p.m.

Preschool/Children/Student Activities: 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Adult Bible Study Groups: 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Deermeadows Orchestra Rehearsal: 6:00 p.m.

Deermeadows Choir Rehearsal: 7:15 p.m.

Where will I park? Pull-in one of our marked entrances off of Baymeadows Road. Guest parking is marked and available just beyond the front lawn, near the sanctuary.

What happens when I arrive on Sunday? The Welcome Center offers personal assistance in finding just the right place for you. If you come for 9 a.m. Bible Study, enter at the columns marked by blue banners to visit the Welcome Center. If you come for worship at 10:15 a.m., just go to the building under the steeple where you'll find someone to greet you at the door.

Where should I go with my young children? Use the south entrance (portico at rear of building next to the playground) for easy access to children's check-in, or follow the signs near guest parking and the sanctuary. Allow for extra time before classes and worship to check-in and find your place. Newborns-Age 4 are cared for in a safe, secure and warm envionment. Children, preschool-grade 6, have age appropriate classes available at 9 a.m., along with students in grades 7-12 while parents and all other adults are in their own classes. During Worship at 10:15 a.m., Extended Teaching Care provides childcare for newborns-Age 4. Information is available at the children's check-in area.

What do people wear? People at Deermeadows wear everything from business-casual to coats, ties, and dresses. Come as you are and feel comfortable. During the summer months, everyone is invited to wear “casual attire” if they wish.
