The Deermeadows Weekday Preschool (Phone: 904.645.5882) is a part-time preschool program for children 6 months through 4 years of age. The mission of the Deermeadows Weekday Preschool is to minister to the children and families of our community by presenting developmentally appropriate Christian education and to lay a foundation for a relationship with Jesus Christ in a loving, safe and nurturing environment.

Classes are offered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the school year runs from September through May.

What is VPK?

Free to 4-Year Olds in Florida, Voluntary Prekindergarten or VPK gives children a jump start by preparing them for school and enhancing their pre-reading, pre-math, language and social skills. By developing the skills children need to become strong readers and students at an early age, children are more likely to be successful in school. VPK classrooms offer high-quality programs that include high literacy standards, developmentally appropriate curricula, manageable class sizes, and qualified teachers.
