MISSIONS
Missions—both home and abroad—will always be sharing the soul-saving, life-giving good news of Jesus to those who need to hear. The goal of Deermeadows' community of faith is to help members understand God's heart for the nations, connect with missionaries, and become personally involved in local outreach across Jacksonville and through global mission work. We are seeking to significantly increase awareness of the Great Commission by offering opportunities to learn, pray, give and go!

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child
Since 1993, Samaritan's Purse has delivered over 244 million shoeboxes to children in more than 175 countries and territories. For many kids, this may be their first gift ever – this is also a tangible expression of God's love! Deermeadows participates in OCC every year, collection more than 600 shoeboxes and acting as a regional drop-off location.
Redemption Church
Monthly Outreach
Redemption Church Monthly Breakfast and Marketplace
On the last Saturday morning of each month, Redemption Church hosts a community outreach on the west side of Jacksonville. Guests gather for a devotional and prayer, before having breakfast together and going to the food pantry & marketplace where they can receive free groceries, clothing, and household items. Contact Michael Reedy to join the group of volunteers from Deermeadows who participate in this outreach once a month.
Atlantic Coast High School Faculty Support
Deermeadows partners with Atlantic Coast High School to support and encourage its faculty and students throughout the school year. We aim to show God's love to our local community, and invite them to be a part of our faith family.
Hart Felt Ministries
Using a network of community volunteers like Deermeadows, Hart Felt Ministries demonstrates love and provides (at no charge) non-medical services that build relationships, enhance environments, and preserve the independence of seniors. Members of Deermeadows have served alongside Hart Felt ministries to build ramps for local seniors' homes.
