LARRY YARBOROUGH
PASTOR
Pastor Larry holds a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctorate of Ministry from Columbia Seminary. He has served in pastoral ministry for over 36 years. He is deeply passionate about expository teaching and community outreach. He and his wife, Diana, have three adult children. Outside of teaching and leading the church, he enjoys time with family, going to the beach, cycling and fitness, and cheering on the University Alabama football team.
TAMMY BENEDICT
CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR
Tammy and her husband, Rex, met, married and have raised their family at Deermeadows. She loves the Deermeadows family and served as a volunteer in various ministries before joining the staff in 2005 leading preschool and children's ministries. Tammy enjoys using her education and background in corporate finance and administration in the church administrator role, or as she likes to call it - "minister of everything else."
WILL LOPES
Music & Worship PASTOR
Will Lopes serves as the Worship Pastor at Deermeadows and joined our staff in January 2025. Prior to coming to Deermeadows, he served as Director of Choral and Vocal Activities at a college in Iowa. Will is passionate about multicultural and multigenerational worship. His heart for bringing people together through music has helped strengthen the diversity and unity reflected in our worship services and musical events. Will is married to Nelly, and together they have six children, ranging in age from 4 to 17, along with Maggie, their beloved Maltipoo. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Deermeadows and considers it a privilege to play a small part in what God is doing in and through our church family.
SUSAN PAYNE
CONNECTIONS PASTOR
Susan has been part of the staff at Deermeadows since 2002, serving in a variety of ministry areas. She is passionate about helping people come to know Christ and to become more like Him. Susan enjoys partnering with people to grow as Jesus-followers so they can experience life transformation through discipleship. Susan is married to Greg and has three children.
SHANNON RADOSEVICH
PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN'S PASTOR
With over 18 years of experience in children’s ministry, Shannon is passionate about helping kids grow in their understanding of God and develop a personal, lifelong relationship with Him. Prior to serving in ministry, she worked as an elementary school teacher Shannon holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in Christian Education, with a focus on children’s ministry. She is married and a proud mom of three children. Shannon loves the beach, reading, and spending time with her family.
JACOB COLEY
Student Pastor
Jacob believes that the Student Ministry is meant to help students learn how they can know Jesus and follow Him daily. He has a passion for investing in students relationally and teaching them the Bible. He feels called to disciple students to reflect the character of Jesus in what they think, say, and do so that others may know Jesus too.
DALE BROOKS
SENIOR ADULT PASTOR
Dale has served in ministry for over twenty years. He attended Florida State University and seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He spent fifteen years as a lead pastor at Avalon Church in Orlando. He believes Deermeadows' senior adults help to create a core foundation for the congregation as faith leaders, disciple growers, and worship keepers.
