STUDENT MINISTRY
Deermeadows Student Ministry is for students in 6th–12th grade and exists to help students grow spiritually and connect relationally through weekly gatherings on Sundays and Wednesdays. From worship led by our student band to outings, events, and meaningful community, we want every student in Jacksonville to find a place to belong and grow in their faith.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES
Connect Groups
Held on Sundays from 9:15-10:15am, students gather in groups depending on their current grade. In Connect Groups, students have the opportunity to study God's Word and connect with their peers.
Student Cafe
Stop by the Shake Shack Cafe for your favorite treats! Grab a milkshake, candy, soda, or another sweet snack while you hang out with friends before Wednesday night events get started. The cafe opens to students at 5:30 on Wednesday nights.
Worship & Discipleship Groups
Held on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm, students will connect through playing games, spend time in worship led by our student band, receive a Biblical teaching, and engage in a time of small group reflection, response, and prayer.

Jacob Coley
Student Pastor
Jacob believes that the Student Ministry is meant to help students learn how they can know Jesus and follow Him daily. He has a passion for investing in students relationally and teaching them the Bible. He feels called to disciple students to reflect the character of Jesus in what they think, say, and do so that others may know Jesus too.

Student Ministry Assistant
Growing up at Deermeadows has given Camden a front-row seat to God's faithfulness and has played a huge role in shaping both her faith and her calling to ministry. She is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Church Ministry and has a passion for helping students know and follow Jesus. Her heart is to create a safe, welcoming environment where teenagers can belong, grow in their faith, and discover the life-changing love of Christ.
