Visiting a church for the first time can come with a lot of questions.
We want your first Sunday at Deermeadows to feel simple and welcoming.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Deermeadows is located at 9780 Baymeadows Road on the Southside of Jacksonville, Florida. We have plenty of parking available and a covered entrance for drop-offs and pick-ups if needed.
Service Times
Every Sunday - Connect Groups (Bible study) start at 9:15am and Worship starts at 10:30am.
Wednesdays (August-May): Dinner is served in the Gathering Place starting at 5:30pm and dGroups (discipleship groups for all ages) start in various classrooms on-campus at 6:30pm.
Choir and Orchestra Rehearsals are also on Wednesday at 6:30pm in the Worship Center.
Greeters will be at each entrance to help you find your way!

Deermeadows is a Baptist Church serving Jacksonville's Southside and surrounding communities. We're a multigenerational church committed to worship, growing in faith, building meaningful relationships, and serving others. Whether you've been part of a church your entire life or you're exploring faith for the first time, there's a place for you here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Deermeadows has activities all throughout the week, but for your first visit, we recommend that you try attending on a Sunday or Wednesday. On Sundays, we have small group Bible studies called Connect Groups that take place at 9:15am. There are Connect Groups for all ages, from infant to senior adults! Following Connect Group hour, we have our worship service at 10:30am in the Worship Center.
On Wednesdays (Aug-May), we serve dinner starting at 5:30pm in the Gathering Place. The Gathering Place can be found midway on our campus. Your first time is FREE and kids under 18 always eat for free! Activities for all ages, including Discipleship Groups (or dGroups) and Choir & Orchestra rehearsals begin at 6:30pm.
Greeters will be around campus to help you find where you need to go!

Sunday Groups at 9:15am
- Babies & Preschoolers: The Preschool Check-In Desk is located at the entrance of our secure Preschool area on the backside of the campus. They will enjoy age appropriate activities throughout the morning until our worship service is over.
- Kids (K-5th): Kids get checked in at the Cube Check-In Desk (located on the 2nd Floor) to attend age-graded groups and be picked up before worship.
- Students (6th-12th): Attend age-graded groups in The Loft (located on 2nd Floor).
Sunday Worship at 10:30am
- Babies & Preschoolers: Cared for in the Preschool & Nursery areas as part of the "Extended Teaching Care" (ETC) ministry.
- Kids (K-2nd): Attend our worship service with family and friends. They can choose to attend Kids Worship when they are dismissed halfway through our service, or they may remain with their families. (Check-in kids for Kids Worship in the lobby of the Worship Center before worship.) All kids are invited to pick up a worship bag as they enter the worship center each Sunday, and return it on the way out.
- Students (6th-12th): Attend our worship service in the Worship Center; look for students near the front left side of the stage as they often sit together!
Wednesday Nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm (Aug-May)
- Babies & Preschoolers: Small children can be checked-in at the same Preschool Lobby used for Sunday Groups. Drop-off begins at 6:20pm.
- Kids (K-5th): Kids get checked in at the Cube Check-In Desk (located on the 2nd Floor) to attend age-graded groups. Drop-off begins at 6:20pm.
- Students(6th-12th): Attend age-graded groups in The Loft (located on 2nd Floor). The Student Cafe is open to students only starting at 5:30pm.
People wear everything from summer and business casual to jackets and dresses. Come as you are and feel comfortable, really!
Sunday worship at 10:30am is a vibrant celebration of who God is! Deermeadows worships through praise, prayer, scripture, messages, and missions in a wide mix of music, words, and people. Every week, people look forward to the celebration and depth of worship involving leadership by all kinds of people of all ages. Music is a mixture of modern and classic songs led by the Deermeadows Choir & Orchestra, vocal team, and band.
We observe the Lord's Supper (Communion) several times throughout the year. All are welcome to participate.
If you come on campus during the week, you might see preschoolers from around Jacksonville learning and growing in the Deermeadows Weekday Preschool.
